Dit basispakket dekt de standaardzorg van onder andere het ziekenhuis, de huisarts en de apotheek. Naast de basisverzekering bieden zorgverzekeraars verschillende aanvullende verzekeringen waarin extra vergoedingen zijn opgenomen.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Basisverzekering<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In Nederland bent u verplicht om tenminste een basis zorgverzekering af te sluiten. Jongeren tot 18 jaar zijn gratis meeverzekerd op de polis van hun ouder(s). De overheid bepaalt welke vergoedingen in de basisverzekering zitten. Het pakket wordt ieder jaar aangepast. Zorgverzekeraars zijn verplicht om iedereen te accepteren voor de basisverzekering.<\/p>\n<p>Iedereen heeft voor de basisverzekering een verplicht eigen risico. Dat is het bedrag dat u eerst zelf moet betalen voordat de zorgverzekeraar iets vergoedt. U kunt kiezen voor een hoger eigen risico. In dat geval betaalt u minder premie voor uw zorgverzekering.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Aanvullende verzekeringen<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Niet alle zorg wordt gedekt door de basisverzekering. U kunt daarom uw basisverzekering uitbreiden met een aanvullende zorgverzekering. Deze verzekering dekt de kosten voor bijvoorbeeld fysiotherapie, orthodontie, hoortoestellen en psychologische zorg. Verzekeraars bieden deze extra dekkingen aan in pakketvorm met verschillende samenstellingen. Wij helpen u de verzekering te zoeken die voordelig is en goed aansluit bij uw persoonlijke wensen.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Overstappen <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Ieder jaar in november maken zorgverzekeraars hun nieuwe premies en voorwaarden van de basisverzekering en de aanvullende verzekeringen. U mag dan overstappen naar een andere zorgverzekeraar. Uw oude zorgverzekering moet v\u00f3\u00f3r 1 januari opgezegd zijn en de nieuwe verzekering moet u v\u00f3\u00f3r 1 februari afsluiten.<\/p>\n<p>U kunt altijd overstappen van de ene basisverzekering naar de andere, maar voor de aanvullende verzekering is dat niet altijd het geval.
